Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be one of the sport's greatest athletes. Biles was the very first American female gymnast in history to win four gold medals at one Games. Then, in Rio de Janeiro, she became the first female to be the first woman ever to take home consecutive World All-around Titles (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan region after she and her younger sister Adria received adoption by grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics when she was just six years old during school field trips to Bannon's Gymnastix where she was a regular for 11 years under coaching of Aimee Boorman. Biles took home the gold medal in the floor and vault competitions at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before getting to the high-level competitions in 2011. Within less than two years she was the very best athlete in her field. Biles was distinguished by her unwavering performance, her exuberant attitude and the difficulty she encountered in all four events: vaulting uneven bars, floor exercises.
